Stuff for Teens

I tried not to think about anything, tried to empty my mind, but I couldn't help it, and for a moment the memories were too strong. I held out one trembling hand like I was an old woman with Parkinson's and watched it shake. My lungs were filling with smoky clouds; the air was too thick to breathe. I leaned against a neighbor's fence. Took deep breaths. Reminded myself that everything was fine.
