HELP!!!
HELP!!!!
HELP!!!!
It’s mid-September. School is definitely underway. Are you overwhelmed?? Need some homework help??
You know that the Bartlesville Public Library has many resources to help you out in your time of research need; but have you ever checked out the online databases??
Even though your teacher has informed you that you cannot use the internet, when you use information from the databases subscribed to by Bartlesville Public Library you are only using web technology. The content is published by reliable companies, like book, magazine, and journal publishers. You may be able to find full text of many articles that the library no longer has in print format. So, check out the databases!!!
You may ask, “Where are these so-called databases?” Go to the Bartlesville Public Library website: www.bartlesville.lib.ok.us click on online databases and you will find all the information you need.
A couple websites that may be extremely helpful for homework help are the following: http://www.bjpinchbeck.com/ and
http://www.familyfirst.com/schoolwork-ugh.html.
The B.J. Pinchbeck site is a lot of fun besides being very helpful. This site was developed by B.J. Pinchbeck and his Dad when he was only 9 years old. He has since graduated from college and has a lot of good ideas to help learners. His site even has the college experience link which helps high school students prepare for college, provides help in scholarships and financial aid, and helps you find just the right college or university!
