TALES OF HORROR by Jim Pipe
ZOMBIES
Have you ever wondered about zombies? What are zombies? Check out Tales of Horror: Zombies in the Juvenile Non-fiction section of the Bartlesville Public Library.
"Legends and other stories describe zombies as dead people who have been brought back to life. A scratch or bite from one of these fiends, however, can turn a living person into a zombie, too."
Just from past experience of watching movies, I think zombies stumble around with their eyes staring straight ahead and their mouths wide open. They are usually seen in large groups and often attack humans. And what do zombies like to eat? Human brains!!
If you are thinking about being a zombie for Halloween, I suggest reading this book so you are an expert on the subject!!

MONSTERS
When I think of a monster, I think of something big and scary looking! What is a monster?
"Most monsters, and there are many kinds, have certain things in common. Many of them are very big--sometimes big enough to eat a human in one bite. Almost all monsters are scary looking. Many of them are also dangerous because of their huge claws or razor sharp teeth. Some monsters even breathe fire!"
Are you thinking of being a monster for Halloween? You better checkout the book Tales of Horror: Monsters from the Bartlesville Public Library and you will become an expert on monsters! It is found in the Juvenile Non-fiction section of the library.

WEREWOLVES
Are werewolves for real? Do they really exist? I just know about them from watching movies and TV; but some people say they are real. Some even say they have been attacked by these scary monsters!
This book about werewolves by Jim Pike presents legends and lore that will help you decide for yourself if werewolves actually do roam the planet.
Are you thinking about being a werewolf for Halloween? Then you need to check this book out by Jim Pike and you will become an expert on werewolves! It can be found in the Juvenile Non-fiction section of the Bartlesville Public Library.
