Stuff for Teens

    In the Feb./March issue of GL magazine (Girl's Life) I came across an article named "Hearts and Hugs" by Patricia McNamara.  She discusses whether best buds can really work toward the same dream without secretly hating each other.  Shake it Up's leading ladies (Bella and Zendaya) say yes-- and show us how it's done.

Rule #1:  Never gossip.  It always comes back around," says Z.  "if you don't talk about the people, people won't talk about you."

Rule #2:  Don't go for the same guy.  "if we both like the same guy, neither of us would go for him,' says Bella.

Rule #3:  Fight jealousy.  "Everybody gets jealous of their best friend at some point," says Zendaya, "but you have to realize what great things you have in your life."

Rule #4:  Don't get caught in the heat of a fight.  "You can't fight fire with fire," says B.

Rule #5:  Never lie.  "Stay true to your feelings and what you have to say," says Bella.

Rule #6:  Support your BFF, good days and bad.  "Love your best friend no matter what they look like on a bad hair day," says Z.

Rule #7:  Just be there.  "I'm there for Zendaya, and I know she's always there for me," says Bella.
